Saint George church was built in 1709 in Zouk Mikael. Its architecture is somehow similar to Saint Doumit church with a little difference: the building's stones are randomly piled.
It has been said that the church was built in 1724 but it was actually built 8 years after the independence of the Royal Church from the Byzantine Church and is official union with Rome in 1701.
What is sure however, is that the church was extended to receive more believers.
