Wanting to create green spaces for a natural and healthy environment, the municipal council initiated a public park with trees and flowers of various kinds. Officially inaugurated in 1982, it comprises a small Roman theater (suitable for accommodating cultural events), several water jets, a small playground for children. The success of the park exceeded all expectations. Zouk Mikael was a prototype quickly copied by some other cities of Keserwan. The park is currently an eminent center of attraction.
